PONTIANAK INFORMASI, POLITIK – Bakal Calon Wakil Presiden Muhaimin Iskandar atau yang akrab disapa Cak Imin, telah memenuhi panggilan penyidik Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) hari ini untuk diperiksa sebagai saksi terkait dugaan korupsi pengadaan sistem proteksi tenaga kerja Indonesia di lingkungan Kementerian Tenaga Kerja (Kemenaker) pada tahun 2012.
Menteri Tenaga Kerja periode 2009-2014 itu tiba di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta Selatan, sekitar pukul 10.55 WIB dengan mengenakan kemeja putih dan celana hitam.
Meski demikian, Cak Imin belum memberikan komentar apa pun mengenai kedatangannya ke kantor lembaga antirasuah tersebut.
Sebelumnya, KPK awalnya menjadwalkan pemeriksaan Cak Imin pada Selasa (5/9), namun yang bersangkutan tidak dapat memenuhi panggilan tersebut karena masalah jadwal yang tidak memungkinkan.
Oleh karena itu, Cak Imin mengajukan permohonan untuk menjadwalkan ulang pemeriksaannya menjadi pada hari Kamis (7/9), yang disetujui oleh pihak KPK.
Muhaimin Iskandar telah memastikan kehadirannya untuk memenuhi panggilan penyidik KPK.
“Besok pasti (saya) datang, karena memang ini proses biasa yang ada sebagai saksi, saya diminta untuk datang,” kata Muhaimin menjawab pertanyaan wartawan saat dia ditemui di NasDem Tower, Jakarta, pada hari Rabu.
Meskipun demikian, ketika ditanya apakah pemanggilan ini terkait dengan dirinya maju sebagai bakal calon wakil presiden, Muhaimin mengaku tidak mengetahui.
“Oh nggak tahu saya. Nggak tahu,” kata Muhaimin dengan singkat. (ad)
